Help with Choosing the Right Essential Oil Scent

New Fall Scents

Need help deciding which essential oil scent to use?

I have created this page to help you decide which essential oil would best suit your scent preferences.

We all have specific scents we like. Some of us like the stronger essential oil scents while others like the light, delicate scents. Some essential oils have lingering scents while others don't.

Ways to Use Essential Oils Around the House

Intense Essential Oil Scents

Rosemary Mint: The Rosemary Mint blend is a blend of Peppermint, Rosemary, Lavender, Lemon and Eucalyptus. The Peppermint is what really stands out in this blend. The Lavender, Lemon, Eucalyptus and Rosemary are added in smaller quanities to make this a well balanced oil blend. All of the essential oils used in this blend are great cleaning oils. Scent Intensity: Strong

Peppermint Twist: The Peppermint Twist blend is a blend of Peppermint and Lemon oils. The Peppermint is what really stands out in this blend. A little Lemon oil is added for a more balanced blend and for the cleaning properties of Lemon. Both of the oils used in this blend are great for cleaning. Scent Intensity: Strong

Cool Mint: This blend consists of Peppermint, Spearmint and Eucalyptus Oils. The spearmint stands out in this blend. A very refreshing scent. Scent Intensity: Strong

Spicy Essential Oil Scents

Fall Harvest Blend: A blend of Sweet Orange, Madagascar Clove and Bay. If you like the citrus and spice scents you will love this blend. The warm spicy scents of bay and clove mixed with the sweet, fresh scent of orange makes this essential oil blend a great choice for the fall. Scent Intensity: Strong

Floral Scents

Lavender: The universally loved oil. Lavender is not too strong and not too light, and in my opinion just right. It's scent is floral, sweet and woodsy. Lavender is a natural disinfectant so it is a great cleaning oil. Scent Intensity: Medium

Bergamot and Grapefruit: This is one of my favorite blends. These two oils blend so well together to create a light, floral and fruity scent. If you are looking for a unique oil blend, you will love this blend. A great cleaning oil because of the disinfectant properties. Scent Intensity: Medium

Acacia: The Acacia is a blend of Lavender, Lemon and Eucalyptus oils. The Acacia blend contains 3 great cleaning oils. The Eucalyptus does stand out in this oil right out of the bottle but when it is dispersed into the air it leaves a clean fresh scent. Scent Intensity: Light to Medium

Citrus Scents

Grapefruit: Grapefruit essential oil is a great household cleaner because of it's disinfectant and antiseptic properties. Grapefruit has a fresh, light citrus scent. A great kitchen cleaner. I love the Grapefruit for cleaning and for burning in the oil burner. Scent Intensity: Light

Cool Citrus Basil: Sweet Basil, Lime and Eucalyptus are blended to make this sweet fresh scent. Antibacterial properties. Scent Intensity: Medium

Clean Lemon: You just can't beat the cleaning power of Lemon with it's disinfectant, antibacterial and deodorizing properties. The Lemon oil has the scent of fresh lemon rinds. Lemon is a great cleaner but it is not one of the lingering scents. I love using products with the Lemon oil around my house. Scent Intensity: Light

Lemon Verbena: The Lemon Verbena is a blend of Lemon, Grapefruit and Sweet Orange and Eucalyptus oils which makes it a good cleaning blend because of it's disinfectant properties. The scent is clean, fresh and invigorating. Scent Intensity: Medium

Lavender Sweet Orange: The soft woodiness of lavender and the bright, energizing scent of sweet orange are a perfect summertime match. Scent Intensity: Medium
