Lavender Oil: is extracted mostly from the flowers of the plant, primarily through steam distillation. The flowers of lavender are fragrant in nature and have been used for making potpourris for years.
Lemon Oil: Lemon is one of the most popular citrus fruits in the world. Lemon oil is also good for cleaning surfaces such as butcher's block that can get contaminated easily.
Peppermint Oil: is distilled from freshly cut, partially dried plant tops. These are cut just before the plants come into flower so the oil will have the best balance of fragrant constituents.
Eucalyptus Oil: Eucalyptus is good for clearing the air.
Rosemary Oil: Distilled from the leaf and has antibacterial properties. Although Rosemary has a strong odor on its own, it is a good oil to use in blends. Only a couple of drops of Rosemary is used in this blend.
